I graduated from Dauphin County Vo-tech in Commercial Art, I then retained an AS in Art in Industry and BS in Photographic Materials and Processes at Harrisburg Area Community College and Antonelli Institute of Art. I went on to work for AMP Incorporated as an Illustrator in Aerospace Design. Later as I found I would actually starve as an artist I started back to school for Veterinary Science while working part time for Jack Gaughen Real Estate as a photographer and was the first to start in the Sunday Showcase of Homes in the Tri-State Area. It wasn't long until I decided to devote my time fully to my schooling and animals when I started at Harcum Junior College and from there to the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Veterinary Orthopaedics and minor in Equine Studies and acquired my VMD.

I love my art and still pursued it on the side, beading, sewing cosplays, and spending much of my time sketching animals. Working in orthopedics gave me the chance to work in an entirely new way with metal, making plates and pins, sometimes even prosthetics. This lead me to an interest in Lapidary work. My daughter Angela and oldest son Bryon also had a wonderful talent in the same areas. Things do happen in life, but I can tell you that your art comes from your soul, it brings out the very best of you and to some, like me..it is a life line.

I am hoping some day I may inspire others the same way. One of my goals is getting back and recreating my shop and also teaching. I love to learn something new and inturn I would love to share what I know as well. So if there is anything I could possibly show you, just ask :) I have plenty of time and a web cam and more over enjoy the company.
